Extremely disappointed with Gonzales Tires in East Palo Alto. Their pricing seems to change every time I go there. I called before going in specifically to ask how much it would cost to patch my tire, and I was told $25 over the phone. Once I arrived, all of a sudden they wanted to charge me $65 for the same tire patch. This isn’t the first time either. I’ve been charged $25 before, then $30 another time, and now suddenly $65. There doesn’t seem to be any consistent pricing. The most frustrating part is that I went out of my way to call ahead and confirm the price so I wouldn’t waste my time. If you’re going to quote a customer $25 over the phone, that should be the price when they arrive unless something about the repair is actually different and you clearly explain why. Changing the price once the customer is already there is terrible business practice and a complete waste of people’s time. After dealing with this multiple times, I won’t be coming back.

I purchased two new tires on a Sunday for $320 was supposed Be American brand and scheduled mounting and rotation for the following Monday as they’re closed on the weekends. Monday I had to call to follow up just to be advised the tires were ordered in the wrong size and they they’d be ready Tuesday… I call back Tuesday just to be told they still haven’t got the tires in but would deliver them to their Redwood City location to make it convenient since they do alignment there… come Wednesday the tires delivered are a different brand that are only $80 a pc and then they charged me for alignment. IF TOTAL RIP OFF IS A COMPANY THIS IS IT!

I went there on a Saturday morning with a flat tire. Even though the place was super-busy, they fixed my tire within 5 minutes. Very efficient, and very polite folks. It only cost $20. Highly recommended. I have previously used America's tire for a flat tire at El Camino Real (Palo Alto) but it took them many hours to complete the task.

From the first call there, I understood these guys are quick and effective. When I came, there was no line, and I guess it's because they work fast with a smile and positive vibes. They changed my wheel, installing this big red wheel, in the picture. This is a speed converter wheel, 2x times faster. Strongly recommend:) I hear they have more red wheels.

I had a flat tire later in the afternoon & it was my first time experiencing something like that. Honestly I was kinda panicking as I was trying to figure out where to tow my car to & how all these usually work. (Solo immigrant, can’t ask parents/family) The new owner here was so kind and was even willing to stay past their closing time to replace the tire for me! Very pleasant experience. Will be recommending to anyone I know
